Advice Guide - Citizens Advice Bureaux provide free, confidential, impartial and independent advice on a very broad range of subjects, including debt, benefits, housing, legal matters, employment, immigration and consumer issues. CABs are open to everyone regardless of race, gender, sexuality or disability. CABs covers advice in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Advicenow - is an independent, not-for-profit website providing accurate, up-to-date information on rights and legal issues.They provide information leaflets and articles on a wide range of topics, including benefits, immigration, and employment. They have information for cohabiting couples, including same-sex couples, in their Living Together section. They also have a section called "Is that Discrimination?" which offers information about discrimination issues.
ALife Podcast - a weekly podcast about asexuality and asexuals. The show is open to topic suggestions or listener questions. It welcomes guest speakers and possible regular panellists.
AVEN - Asexual Visibility and Education Network. AVEN hosts the world's largest online asexual community as well as a large archive of resources on asexuality. AVEN strives to create open, honest discussion about asexuality among sexual and asexual people alike.

Community Legal Advice - Call for free and confidential advice paid for by legal aid. If you live on a low income or benefits you can get independent advice about debt, education, benefits and tax credits, employment and housing problems. Edward Carpenter Community is a group of gay men committed to principles of caring, trusting, personal growth, sharing, and creativity aimed at nurturing 'community' as an alternative to the commercial scene. Gendered Intelligence - Gendered Intelligence is a community interest company that runs arts programmes, creative workshops, and trans youth group sessions that looks to engage people in debates about gender. They work predominantly within young people’s settings and have educative aims. They believe the arts is an amazing tool for sharing our stories, platforming our voices and building awareness around the ways in which heteronormativity regulates and restricts everyone. They have a youth group that provides travel bursaries to those travelling into london to get there.
Gender Trust - UK charity helping with gender issues. Offers information and support to transsexuals, gender dysphoric and transgender people.
GOC - consists of about LGBT 40 groups, which are either geographically based or specialise in a type of activity (e.g. climbing), and all events are organised through one of those groups. Please visit their website for more information and event schedule.
IMAAN - A social and support network for LGBT Muslims, and their families and friends. They hold monthly meetings in London.

Lesbian Line - The Line was established to help women who are questioning their sexuality and who seek a safe and confidential environment in which to meet other lesbians. The group provides friendly drop in sessions for all ages every wed eve in Northampton. Come for a chat, cuppa, free internet access and catch up on any local events.

Our Sista Circle - A networking and support site for lesbians of color. A safe space for lesbians of colour to meet & discuss issues unique to us.
OPEN - This organisation covers the whole of Northamptonshire to coordinate and support projects for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans people. At present the organisation undertakes political and campaigning work, and also runs events to promote the good well being of LGBT people. The organisation is also considering support groups; youth services; counselling, help line and face to face support; training for statutory and voluntary bodies; promotion of hate crime reporting; sexual health work. The group relies on a team of dedicated volunteers.
Outburst - A national charitable organisation giving a platform, voice and supportive environment to the black LGBT community in the UK. We focus on culture, education, performances, and festivals. In addition, we host film screenings book readings, cultural days, working with new and emerging artists and supporting other community organisations.

Refuge - is a national charity for all women and children experiencing domestic violence. They have online information, plus a national freephone helpline, run in conjunction with Women's Aid.
Safra Project - A project which works on issues relating to Muslim women who identify as lesbian, bisexual or transgender. They offer training, research and information.

TRADE - Provides FREE and CONFIDENTIAL advice and support to anyone who identifies as gay, lesbian, bisexual, man who has sex with men (MSM) or woman who has sex with women (WSW).
